In the event of a chargeback or dispute, this policy — together with order confirmations, tracking information, and previous communication — may be used as supporting documentation.
Returns
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery, provided the conditions below are met.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a return:

The item must be unused, unworn, and unwashed.

The item must be in its original condition and packaging.

Only normal inspection and careful handling may have occurred.

Return shipping and handling costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Once received, returns are processed within 7 business days.
We reserve the right to refuse returns if items show signs of wear, misuse, damage, or conditions not attributable to UMIA.
How to Initiate a Return
To request a return:

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping proof of shipment until your return has been confirmed and processed.
Defective or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 2 days of delivery at hello@umiawear.com and provide:

Clear photos (or a short video) showing the defect
After review:

We may offer a replacement, depending on availability and the nature of the issue.

In some cases, a return may not be required.
Approved replacements are typically processed within 7–14 business days.
Lost or Unclaimed Orders
If your package appears lost in transit:

Contact us with your order number and tracking details.

We will assist you in contacting the courier and, if confirmed lost, arrange a replacement or refund.
If a package is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, a $35 CAD deduction will be applied to your refund to cover administrative and shipping costs.
Cancellations & Right of Withdrawal
Under applicable consumer protection law, you may withdraw from your purchase within 30 days of receiving your order.
Please note:

Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled mid-transit.

If your order has been dispatched, you may initiate a return after delivery.
To request cancellation before shipment, email hello@umiawear.com with a clear withdrawal request.
Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the buyer.

Filing a chargeback without prior contact may delay resolution and may affect future ordering eligibility.

All approved returns must be sent to our central warehouse in Asia at the customer’s expense.

We are not responsible for shipping delays or customs clearance processes.

Hygiene-sensitive items that are returned in used or unsanitary condition cannot be accepted.
